Organizing and managing events is considered as one of the promising marketing and communication tool by the companies of all sizes, whether a startup or a multinational brand. Companies target their audience using mass media, news, webinars, online presentations or google hangout to reach millions of people, clients or users worldwide.

Event marketing is a big investment, and only once in a season you might get a great opportunity to organize an event in a trade fair or a conference. Therefore, you must take care of these 7 points to have outstanding results.

1. Set up goals and measure ROI for your Event Marketing campaign (Return on Investment)

You might conduct an event and then measure ROI and then you realize that your event actually was a loss for you. Therefore, set goals and start predicting the ROI. You should not consider only the number of people registered to your event or attended as your goal. But stress on conversion rate. How many registered users will buy your product/service or how many registered users will consider you in the future. To have a good conversion rate, you need right audience. Audience will chose you, but you need to chose your audience too. Advertise and invite people belonging to the right sector.

2. Categorize your promotions to hit the right target

Before promoting your event identify what kind of audience will be most interested in your event. Will they be students? will they be entrepreneurs, or should they belong to a particular sector of industry. Keeping all this in mind create a campaign. Be organized. make a list of your audience so that you can use it again in the future. Invite them to subscribe to your mailing list or follow you on your social profile.

3. Use various methods to promote your event

Just a month before the event you would be the busiest person on earth while planning everything. Nevertheless, use all your freetime or hire a friend or designate an employee to look after social promotion and reaching out to the people to inform them about your exciting event well advance. Set the right time and frequency to communicate. Check your facebook and previous email marketing insights and see on which day and on what time more people view your status or open your email.

Use Facebook events and invite your friends and use Facebook promotion features to target to the right audience. You can target people even through various other paid promotion networks like Google Adwords. Create a hashtag for your event and start tweeting and ask your followers and friends to tweet using this hashtag. Use email marketing and invite people to your event as well as on your social profile.

4. Calculate staff requirement

Now that you have predicted the number of attendees, it is the time to calculate how much staff you need. Form a strategy, how many attendees should one staff engage, calculate the ratio of staff:attendee. Imagine in a trade fair you have a stall, you don’t want your staff standing and doing nothing, on the other hand, you do not want half of the attendees unable to communicate with you since you are busy engaging the other half of the attendees.

5. Say everything you want to say

Whether you are giving a presentation about your product or conducting a live streaming event or have a stall, you are connecting with your audience only once. once the time is over or once the audience have left your stall, they will not come back to you. Therefore, note down all the important points and features that you must have to communicate to your audience. Ask your staff to keep track on it. Ask them to intervene and help you if you miss a point, make sure those points are bold in your presentation if n case you miss speaking about them.

6. Stand out from the crowd

Remember this point if you have a stall. All your employee must follow dress code, the colour of their clothes should match with the theme of your brand. Not just that, chose those type of clothes which are not common, the idea is you should not get amalgamated in the crowd. You should stand out. The crowd should get to know with just one look that this person in the representative of your stall.

You just do not have to stand out from the crowd, but also stand out from the other stalls. You need to think of some programs, events, games, competition or experiential marketing concepts to attract more crowd to your stall.

7. Follow up with your attendees

Remember you created a list of your audience in point 2? Now is the time to use it. Send a final email or tweet or facebook status to them. Remind them about your product and how pleased you were to have their presence. Remind them the important features and point of your product/service and offer them discount if possible. Remember, this is your last chance for gaining an extra conversion.

Employees are the most important asset of any organization and the main engine for its success, but to get the full potential out of employees it is important to know how to manage a team of employees. The desire for the employee to function at the highest level is in the common interest of both the employee and the management and not one good manager is measured by his ability to motivate the employees and get the most out of them. To be good managers you have to trust the abilities of your team members, take a step back, let them do the job even without your intervention. Managing a staff team means maximum utilization of the human resources available to the organization that are reflected, among other things, in the ability to see the employee’s abilities beyond the position and slot in which they are located. Non-limitation of the employee to the limits of his job definition will lead to the development of both the organization and the employee and better results for the organization.
In an age where the job that the employee now performs is not a lifelong career and many employees move from job to job and also from organization to organization sooner or later, the manager has the task of developing talented employees, promoting them within the organization and preventing them from leaving. Throughout the period of employment of the employee in the organization, it is important to educate them and allow them to “grow”. Delegating authority over employees and giving responsibility to employees are among the important tools that will create in every employee motivation, desire to succeed and a sense of partnership in the organization and practically will also make it easier for you as a manager to take responsibility and work.

HOW TO SAY “NO” TO AN EMPLOYEE  

Managing a staff requires knowing how to say no sometimes. Managing a staff is not only reflected in the projects you agree to carry out, but also in those you decide not to carry out. Before you decide to agree to any initiative of the staff, it is important to consider and make sure that the initiative meets the goals of the organization and benefits it. If you do not think so, do not fall into the trap of being nice and agreeing to everything, a good manager also knows when to say no, and you will also be surprised the staff will appreciate them for it as long as it is made as a matter-of-fact decision.

In order for the team meeting not to be perceived as boring and inefficient it is important to know how to conduct a team meeting. Basically, each participant should be given the feeling that his or her voice is important and heard, given the opportunity to raise issues and ideas for discussion at the meeting, suggestions for improvement and streamlining, or to make complaints and requests. It is not always necessary to hold an office meeting, it is sometimes possible to go out to a quality restaurant. A pleasant staff meeting will contribute, among other things, to strengthening the connection between the employees and the management.

When the manager adopts actions and methods that will strengthen the employee’s relationship with the manager and the organization and increase their motivation, the employee’s absence is expected to be at least significantly.

Technology has become a big thing in the world. No matter where you look, technology is everywhere and that isn’t going to be changing any time soon. While the idea of improving plant genetics isn’t new, it is made a lot easier by the development of technology in the field. Plant breeders have been working to improve germplasm to develop seeds that have the best mixture oc characteristics possible. It’s important to understand that the older methods are still used here, but they are also combined with a newer approach that involves the latest tech.

The new and improved farm equipment has had the most significant impact on the farming industry. Or, they would be bred with one purpose in mind: the end goal. Embryo transfer is gaining more and more popularity over recent years, especially in the dairy industry. This wouldn’t have been possible fifty year ago, and it is thanks to technology that it is possible now.

Now, you should understand a little more about how technology has changed farming over the years. Intersections to Watch Out for in NYC

New York City is one of the most populated cities in the world. With this high population also exists one of the most thriving and fast-paced metropolia on the planet. You may have heard that NYC is primarily a walking city, which is true, yet there are dangers to be aware of. There are many dangerous NYC intersections that result in annual fatality rates for pedestrians and even more injuries. 

You should never have to worry about being struck by an automobile when walking, but due to the tight NYC congestion, this possibility should always be in the back of your mind. Government officials in NYC have taken steps to address this problem, but it takes time for driving behaviors to be reined in. Let’s take a look at some of the Big Apple’s most dangerous intersections. 

Chelsea, Manhattan: 6th Avenue and West 23rd Street

23rd Street is one of the widest and most widely-used in Manhattan. Due to the onslaught of large delivery trucks and increased vehicle congestion, this intersection that meets 6th Avenue is one of the most dangerous in the city. Pedestrians typically run into problems with not being able to quickly cross in enough time. Even cyclists frequently encounter problems with this intersection and a large amount of traffic. 

East Village, Manhattan: 3rd Avenue and East 14th Street

The East Village is typically teeming with people all hours of the day, therefore, pedestrian accidents are common at the intersection of 3rd Avenue meeting East 14th Street. Dangerous amounts of speeding and the running of red lights are common at this intersection. When you factor this into a large number of people that regularly cross this intersection, serious accidents are frequently bound to happen. 

Crown Heights, Brooklyn: Atlantic Avenue and Bedford Avenue 

Bedford Lane poses many problems for walking and cycling pedestrians. The lane for this mode of travel is not clearly separated from traffic, which is a recipe for disaster. The oncoming traffic from Atlantic Avenue only exists to add increased and volatile traffic to the equation. Pedestrians are forced to walk or cycle towards the curb, which collides with the traffic that turns out of the left lane

Port Richmond, Staten Island: Castleton Avenue and Clove Road

Staten Island is the most isolated borough of NYC, yet there are still instances of road accidents involving pedestrians. One of the most dangerous intersections on Staten Island is the crossing that collides at Castleton Avenue and Clove Road. Clove Road is popular with cyclists, yet the shared lanes that both cyclists and drivers have to occupy is a frequent site of accidents in Staten Island because the shared lanes are not easily separated. 

Lower East Side, Manhattan: Allen Street and East Houston Street

East Houston Street is very wide, which has frequently created problems for both drivers and pedestrians alike. Due to the large size of the intersection that meets with Allen Street, it can be difficult for drivers to fully see individuals walking or cycling. The surrounding geography of this intersection exists to make problems even worse; both drivers and cyclists frequently have their view obstructed.
