About Us

The World Reporter is an open online students’ journal with a motive of making news media open and more free, changing the traditional way of how news is delivered. Students are the most active and promising pillar of a democracy, we at The World Reporter provide students around the world an established platform to express their views on the global issues or the issues in their country that needs international attention.

The World Reporter aims at providing detailed analysis and opinion on a news event helping readers understand the importance of the event by telling them how the news may affect them. This is why The World Reporter starts where the mainstream media stops.

Beside our team of student journalists, students around the world send their contribution and our expert open minded and unbiased student editors go through it before publishing it.

Started in August 2007, The World Reporter now has its team in India, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, The UK, The US, and Singapore. We are always looking for volunteer contributors in any form.
