Exactly after a month when a 9 magnitude earthquake jolted Japan followed by a deadly tsunami and nuclear radiation leak, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake which is an aftershock of that previous earthquake has hit Japan. The epicentre is quite close to the nuclear power plant that was damaged leaking the nuclear radiation by the previous earthquake that cause more than 30,000 people dead or missing.

Just after the shocks were recorded a tsunami warning has been issued and people have been advised to move to the higher grounds. Just four days back another earthquake's aftershock of magnitude 7.4 magnitude was felt, thereafter a tsunami warning was issued.

US Geological Surveys says that the epicentre was 10 KM deep under the earth and was 86KM south east of the Fukushima city where the damaged nuclear power plant is situated. Though any damage due to this earthquake is hardly reporter, the tsnuami  warning which was issued saying one metre wave may hit the island has also been lifted.

Issuing a tsunami warning was just to stay at the safer side, after a loss of millions Japanese authorities would be in no mood to take any risk. The factor of safety has been increased, that means even if the earthquake is of average magnitude, government will issue a tsunami warning to be on safer side.
